The Betty Field Memorial Youth Writing Contest
Funded by Mr. Kenneth Field
Sponsored by Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District.
The annual Betty Field Memorial Youth Writing Contest is open to all students (public school, private school, home-school) in grades 6 through 12 in the El Paso Country region and/or in the areas served by the Pikes Peak Library District.
Deadline for receipt of entries is February 25, 2012.
Writers Workshop for all students who enter the contest will be held in the East Library Conference Room April 21, 2012, 10 AM. The instructor for the workshop is local mystery writer Laura DiSilverio.
Awards Ceremony will be held April 21, 2012, 11 AM - East Library Community Room. The Awards Ceremony is open to the public.
